Automation (Undergraduate Four Years)


This specialty mainly aims to cultivate senior engineering talents in the following areas: design, construction, operational management, scientific research and teaching on the projects of building intelligence and industrial automation. 
After systematic study and basic training, the students will mainly master the basic theories and professional knowledge on building automation, industrial automation, power distribution of buildings, etc., thus possess the basic capacity on design, construction, system development and research of automatic-control system engineering.
Main Courses: Automatic Control Theory, Computer-controlled Technology, Computer Network Technology, Computer-aided Design, Plant Power Supply and Distribution,
Computer Principles, Automatic Control System, Process Control, Automation Instrumentation, etc.

On graduation, the students may deal with automation and design, construction, operation, management, scientific research and teaching of construction electrical engineering in designing institutes, universities or colleges, scientific research organizations, construction firms, etc.

Control is the key course of Ministry of Construction. Control Theory and Control Engineering, Detection Technology and Automatic Equipment are the courses with master's degree award authority.

Our college runs the major jointly with University of Luton . We start a co-teaching class on Sino-British Automation (Computer and Robot Orientation), which adopts “2+ 2” foster mode for the students. Namely, the students study in our college for two years, and the excellent students shall be recommended to study in University of Luton for another two years at their own expenses. After graduation, the students will get undergraduate diploma of University of Luton and the diploma and bachelor’s degree issued by our college. Students in “2+ 2” teaching class pay some fees for enhancing English learning.

Electrical Engineering and Automation (Undergraduate Four Years)

This specialty mainly aims to cultivate senior engineering talents in the following areas: design, construction, operational management, scientific research and teaching on the projects of building intelligence and electrical automation. 
After systematic study and basic training, the students will mainly master the basic theories and professional knowledge on building automation, electrical automation, communication automation, security automation, power supply and distribution of buildings, etc., thus possess the basic capacity on design, construction, system operation and maintenance of building electrical automation projects.

Main Courses: Building Power Supply and Distribution, Elevator Control Technology, Building Fire Protection System, Communications Engineering, Cable System, Computer-aided Design, Computer Networks and Integrated Wiring, etc.
On graduation, the students may deal with construction electrical automation and design, construction, management, scientific research and teaching of building automation in designing institutes, universities or colleges, scientific research organizations, construction firms, etc.

Communication Engineering (Undergraduate Four Years)

This specialty mainly aims to cultivate senior engineering talents with the knowledge of intelligent buildings communication technology, communication system and communication network in the following work positions: research, design, operational management, scientific research and teaching in the communication field.

After systematic study and basic training, the students will mainly master the basic theories, principles of constitution and designing methods in such areas like building communication, communication system, communication network, etc., also get the basic training in communication engineering practice, thus possess the basic capacity on design, development, debugging and engineering application in modern communication system and network.

Main Courses: High-frequency Electronic Circuit, Computer Principles and Interface Technology, Computer Networks, Communications Theory, Signal & System, Exchange Technology., etc.
On graduation, the students may deal with communication systems and design, construction, management, scientific research and teaching of communication networks in designing institutes, universities or colleges, scientific research organizations, construction firms, etc.

Computer Science and Technology (Undergraduate Four Years)

This specialty mainly aims to bring up the senior specialized professionals in computer science and technology who are well-educated in science and systematically master computer science and technology, including basic theories, knowledge and skills of computer hardware, software and application, and are able to deal with computer teaching, scientific research and application

After systematic study, the students will have the capacity of logical thinking,, computational analysis and mathematical modeling based on mathematical theories, master program designing and software designing theories and possess strong power of software design and development; master the knowledge on electron, communication and computer hardware, and possess a certain ability on hardware analysis and design; know the knowledge and development trends in the fields related to the specialty; master the basic methods of document indexing and collection of files and have some scientific research capacity.

Main Courses: Circuit Theory, Analog Electronic Technology, Digital Logic, Discrete Mathematics, Advanced Language Program, Compilation Language, Data Structure, Compiler Principles, The Principle of Computer Components, Operating System, The Structure of Computer System, Computer Principles and Interface Technology, Signal Processing Theory, General Principles of Communications, Computer Networks, etc.
On graduation, the students may deal with design, scientific research, development, management, and teaching of computer systems in scientific research organizations , designing institutes, universities or colleges, enterprises, administrative departments, etc.
Computer Science and Technology
is the specialty with master's degree award authority.

Information Management and Information System (Undergraduate Four Years)

This specialty aims to bring up the senior specialized professionals who possess modern sound grounding in the principles of management, master the basic knowledge and skills of computer software and hardware systems, as well as system thinking, knowledge, information system analysis and designing methods, and are able to deal with analysis, design, management and evaluation on information system management.

After systematic study, the students will master analysis, design and implementation technique of information management and information system. They will master the basic knowledge and skills of computer software and hardware systems; possess strong power of software design; know the knowledge and development trends in the fields related to the specialty; master the basic methods of document indexing and collection of files and have some scientific research capacity.

Main Courses: Economics, Accounting, Management Theory, The Application of Mathematical Statistics, Operations Research, C Language, Data Structure, The Principle of Computer Components, Operating System, Database System, Computer Networks, E-commerce, Technical Economics, Information Economy and Information Management, Information System Analysis and Design, etc.

After graduation, the students shall be engaged in analysis, design, development and research of information management and management information system in national different levels of administration departments, business enterprises, financial institutions, scientific research institutes, etc.
